San Francisco Bay area travelers faced a foggy start this morning as dense fog caused visibility issues in the Gilroy and Hollister areas, the National Weather Service Bay Area warned via X post. Man arrested for DUI after crash, one injured
A Watsonville man was arrested on suspicion of DUI Monday afternoon after a two-vehicle crash. Watsonville Police officer Bobby Rodriguez said the suspect was driving a red Chevy Silverado pickup westbound on Martinelli Street around 4:30pm. Witnesses told police that the driver ran a stop sign at Brewington Avenue, and plowed broadside into a black GMC Yukon Denali SUV driven by a Watsonville man. He had just pulled away from a stop sign at Martinelli Street and was attempting to continue south on Brewington when he was struck.
