The Arc Mid-Hudson’s Wine and Dine Raises more than $66,000
SAUGERTIES – More than 180 people attended The Arc Mid-Hudson’s Annual Wine & Dine event at Diamond Mills earlier this month, which raised more than $66,000. “The Wine & Dine event attracts more and more people each year, which is one of the reasons why we had to move it to a much larger venue like the Diamond Mills. It was wonderful to see so many people who have been long-term supporters of this event, as well as new guests, too.” said John McHugh, Chief Executive Officer of The Arc Mid-Hudson. “The money raised from events like this go directly back into the programs that help support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including autism.”
The Hudson Highlands Fjord Trail Is a Solution-Driven Project
It’s no secret that the Hudson Valley is home to many amazing hiking trails, bustling Main Streets, and riverfront parks. Yet, as the area attracts more tourists, regional day trip towns can be overwhelmed by large quantities of visitors, and the question of how to manage visitation comes into play. As a solution, the Hudson Highlands Fjord Trail is a project almost 20 years in the making that is finally being brought to life.
