Ole Smoky Distillery has earned four Rising Star Awards , for Ole Smoky Peanut Butter Whiskey, Ole Smoky Orange Shinesicle Cream Moonshine, Ole Smoky Banana Pudding Cream Moonshine, and Ole Smoky White Chocolate Strawberry Cream Moonshine, as well as three Fast Track Awards , for the Ole Smoky Moonshine product line, Ole Smoky Whiskey product line, and Ole Smoky Salty Caramel Whiskey.
The Growth Brands Awards have recognized successful beverage alcohol brands since 1997. Growth Brands are divided into five categories ( Fast Track, Rising Star, Established Growth Brands, Comeback Brands, and Hall of Fame ) for wine and spirits, while beer brands are awarded based upon a survey of off-premise retailers and on-premise operators. The wine and spirit winners are announced each year in the summer issues of Beverage Dynamics, Cheers, StateWays, and Beverage Wholesaler magazines .
