DA: No criminal charges in officer-involved shooting, return officer 'to full duty without delay'
District Attorney Jeff Cruden will not seek criminal charges against an Elizabeth City police officer who shot and killed a local man in April. Cruden, who represents the 1st Prosecutorial District which includes Pasquotank County, said in a news release Tuesday that he is recommending that Lt.
