WARRENSBURG, MO (Dakota News Now) - A second straight run to the NCAA Division Two College Baseball World Series was not in the cards for the 2024 Augustana Vikings. A year after winning the Central Regional in Warrensburg, Missouri, against the host Central Missouri Mules en route to the College World Series the Mules got their revenge. Though Augie was able to advance to the Central Region Championship with a 4-3 victory over Central Oklahoma they were overwhelmed once again by the Mules, falling for the second straight night to Central Missouri, 12-3 this time, seeing their season come to a close at 47-10.
