Brandon Valley students choosing new school lunch menu
BRANDON, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - On Thursday, students at Brandon Valley got a special treat and a choice for who will be making their food in school next year. This is something that Brandon Valley said has never been done in the state, and 200 students, grades 4th through 11th, got to taste food from seven vendors.

Half of B&G Milkyway locations are open already
Half of the B&G Milkyway locations have opened for the season already. Kasey Iverson, co-owner of the franchise locations on Sycamore Avenue and in Brandon and Harrisburg, said he was caught by surprise when he drove by the Sycamore ice cream shop today and saw it was open. The plan was to open Wednesday, but he said the manager decided to open today because everything was ready to go.
