Driver ejected in Hwy. 112 crash
A Cassville man was seriously injured following a single-vehicle wreck on Friday at 8 p.m. on Highway 112, six miles south of Cassville. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Johnathon Case, 34, of Cassville, was driving a 2016 Nissan Versa northbound when his vehicle ran off the roadway and overturned, ejecting the driver.

Disturbance causes lockdown at Springdale High School
SPRINGDALE, Ark. — Police say a disturbance in which a weapon was allegedly shown at Murphy Park prompted a lockdown at Springdale High School on Wednesday, May 8. According to Sgt. Matt Ray with the Springdale Police Department (SPD), there was a disturbance between two groups of people at the park just before the end of the school day. A weapon was allegedly seen, and the incident was reported to school resource officers due to the closeness of the incident.
