Steve Landers Jr. Acquires Warfield Distillery
Auto dealer Steve Landers Jr. recently announced that he has acquired Idaho-based Warfield Distillery, an award-winning distillery in Sun Valley co-founded by Alex Buck. Dustin Curtis, vice president of Interstate Holdings, said he and Landers visited the distillery during a trip and liked it so much that they decided to bring its products to the masses. Landers, Curtis, and Brett Huskey, vice president of Interstate Holdings, will take over distribution, while Buck will continue crafting the spirits.

Ketchum doctor dies in Lost River Range avalanche
A Ketchum doctor died after he was buried in an avalanche May 10 on Donaldson Peak in the Lost River Range. Dr. Terry O’Connor and a woman were downclimbing when O’Connor triggered and was caught in a small wind slab avalanche, according to the Colorado Avalanche Center. The avalanche center said the two were both experienced backcountry skiers.
