I-40 reopens 2 days after train derails, catches fire near Arizona-New Mexico border
LUPTON, Ariz (AZFamily/AP) — Interstate 40 has completely reopened days after a train derailed and caught fire near the Arizona-New Mexico border. On Sunday, just before 12:30 p.m., ADOT says the eastbound lanes were back open after they were shut down for two days as crews worked to put out the flames and clean up wreckage. Drivers should expect heavy delays in the area.
