This is a view from an overlook at The Devil’s Den Nature Preserve which was recently cleared out by the Friends of the Blue Ridge. The preserve is open from May 1 thru October 31. There is no fee to enter The Preserve, donations are welcomed. Beginning at 11 a.m. on May 4 fun special activities will include amusing historical story tellers who will provide insights into some of Carroll County’s pioneers, guided tours down the mountain to the Devil’s Den Cave opening and kite flying on the beautiful mountain top meadow.
