Tip leads to Chautauqua Co. officers finding over 4 oz. of drugs, cash

( WJET/WFXP )– A tip to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s office led to police uncovering a drug operation with numerous kinds of narcotics and arresting six people Tuesday morning.
Sheriffs first received a tip from an unnamed source about a group of people selling narcotics out of an apartment in the 10 block of Liberty St. in Fredonia, NY.
After receiving the tip, sheriffs along with members of the Fredonia Police Department, Dunkirk Police Department and Jamestown Police Department executed a raid on the residence around 6:15 a.m. on March 27 and found six people in the residence before beginning their search.
Police said that search uncovered 70.1 grams of methamphetamine, 38.9 grams of fentanyl, 17.0 grams of cocaine, scales and packaging material for the distribution of narcotics, a shotgun and $510 in cash.

A 44-year-old Dunkirk woman : Second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminally using drug paraphernalia
A 29 Dunkirk woman : Second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminally using drug paraphernalia
A 42-year-old Dunkirk man : Second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminally using drug paraphernalia
Police said after arresting Studley they found he was also wanted out of Chautauqua County Court for felony drug possession.
