Franklin Police searching for missing teen

UPDATE: Simiyah Norfleet has been located and is safe, according to authorities.

The City of Franklin Police Department is seeking assistance in locating Simiyah Norfleet, a 15-year-old black female. She is described as approximately five feet, five inches in height and weighing approximately 150 pounds, with a nose ring and long pink and orange hair that is braided.

Simiyah Norfleet departed from a residence in the 400 block of Walnut Street, Franklin, between 10 p.m., April 26, and 1 a.m. on April 27.

She was seen by friends on Hall Street around 2:50 a.m. April 27 and was last seen wearing black jeans and a purple hoodie. Currently, there is no belief that Simiyah Norfleet is in danger or in need of services.
