Arrest warrant issued for Chicago suburban woman who ransacked police station
CHICAGO (CBS) — Police in far north suburban Island Lake issued an arrest warrant for the woman who ransacked the police department's lobby. Security cameras captured the moment 35-year-old Mary Larson pulled brochure holders and even a billboard off the wall. She then scattered the brochures throughout the lobby. Police said Larson is from Schaumburg. If you recognize the suspect, call the Island Lake Police Department.

CHICAGO (CBS)-- A warm day is ahead before showers and storms arrive Tuesday in Chicago. Monday's highs reach 70 degrees with mostly sunny skies. Clouds increase as showers develop Tuesday by daybreak. Afternoon storms could bring damaging wind and large hail, are the main threats. An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out, according to CBS 2 meteorologist Laura Bannon. The risk for storms continues into Wednesday. Temperatures are likely to stay on the warmer side through mid-week before cooling into the 60s again by week's end.
Summer outlook: Illinois could be in for cool, rainy summer
The OldFarmers’ Almanac has released its summer weather outlook, and unfortunately for Illinois it looks like it will be a cool and rainy summer. The prediction for nearly all of Illinois, including Springfield, Peoria, Rockford and Chicago, appears to be on the cooler and wetter side of things. There are western parts of Illinois that could be hotter and drier, according to the prediction.
