Police looking for missing elderly woman from Texarkana on her way to visit family in Shreveport
TEXARKANA, Texas (KSLA) - The Texarkana Texas Police Department is looking for a missing elderly woman. Police say Lillie Miller, 77, left her house on N Akin Street in Texarkana around 7:30 p.m. Monday night (June 3). Police think she was headed to Shreveport to visit family, but never made it there. Furthermore, Miller has health issues and recently started showing signs of dementia, police say. Miller did bring her luggage with her, but did not bring her medications, officials report.

Hospice of Texarkana to host free counseling workshop for kids and teens
TEXARKANA, Texas - Statistics show that one in five children will experience the death of someone close to them by age 18. Hospice of Texarkana will be offering a program this to help children and young teens learn how to cope with loss. The "Good Grief Day" workshop will be held on Friday for kids ages 7 to 15 years of age.
