FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – After two seasons of growing pains, head coach Quentin Bowen is hoping for a breakthrough year this fall at Northrop.

The Bruins should have plenty of talent at their disposal this season at Spuller Stadium. Joining Northrop this fall is rising junior Jamari Brown. The wide receiver began his prep career in Illinois before recently moving to Fort Wayne.

Brown is already on the radar for several DI college football coaches. The pass catcher has a handful of offers, including his biggest one yet from Ole Miss. While Brown’s stock is rising, his biggest focus right now is settling in with his new teammates at Northrop.

The Bruins kick off their season on Friday, Aug. 23 against New Haven.
