IU’s Woodson to headline Boys & Girls Clubs event

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – After assembling one of the top transfer portal classes in the nation over the last few months, Indiana University head basketball coach Mike Woodson is on a roll – and that includes making his way up to the Summit City next week.

Woodson will be the featured speaker at the “Getting Future Ready with Coach Mike Woodson” event to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Fort Wayne on Wednesday, June 19 at The Clyde Theater.

A VIP session with coach Woodson is set for 5-6 p.m., with the main event scheduled to start at 6:30.

The event will include a keynote presentation by Woodson along with a Q&A session hosted by WANE sports director Glenn Marini. The Future Ready campaign aims to provide our youth with the tools they need, focusing on positive initiatives and proven outcomes.
