STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a 15-year-old boy from Port Richmond who was reported missing. Armando Acevedo Solano was last seen leaving his Lexington Avenue residence on Wednesday at around 2:45 p.m., according to a statement from the NYPD’s Deputy Commissioner of Public Information.

Car crashes into Holmdel Chipotle while trying to park; restaurant closed for repair
HOLMDEL - A car crashed into Chipotle Tuesday afternoon, leaving the restaurant closed until the damage can be repaired, police said. About 4:05 p.m., a vehicle attempting to park alongside Chipotle on Route 35 hopped the curb and crashed into the building, according to Holmdel Police. The car penetrated the interior of the building, but there were no injuries inside of the restaurant.
NYPD: Teens stab and rob man, 28, on Staten Island
STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A group of teens stabbed and robbed a man in St. George on Tuesday night, police said. The National Weather Service issued a rip current statement at 3:39 a.m. on Friday in effect until 8 p.m. for Monmouth and Ocean counties. "Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water," describes the weather service. "If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave for help."
