    Fort golfers shoot 310, finish 4th at Watertown Country Club

    WATERTOWN — Fort Atkinson’s boys golf team shot 310 and finished fourth at Monday’s Badger Large Conference mini meet hosted by Watertown Country Club.

    The Blackhawks had two sub-75 rounds and did not count a score higher than 81.

    Fort junior Jack Kammer shot season-low 4-over 74 and tied for seventh.

    Junior Mason Burke shot 75 and tied for ninth.

    Junior Kellan Jacobson shot 80, senior Ethan Brown shot 81 and junior Caleb Enger’s 83 was not counted.

    The top three teams were separated by just two strokes with DeForest, which got a medalist-winning round of 68 from Lincoln Hottmann, shooting 292 to squeak past Milton (293) and Waunakee (294).

    Fort plays in the Beloit Memorial Invite at Krueger Haskell Golf Course on Friday before competing in the Ashenfelter Invite at Janesville Riverside Golf Course on Saturday.

    Team scores: DeForest 292, Milton 293, Waunakee 294, Fort Atkinson 310, Oregon 327, Monona Grove 328, Watertown 347, Beaver Dam 355.
