Humane Society gets cute, cuddly and creative
JEFFERSON — Saturday afternoon, the Humane Society of Jefferson County hosted a “Painting with Pets” event in which painters received a kit with a wooden board to paint as well as brushes and acrylic paint provided by Rhettro Design Co., who also provided customized name painting kits upon request. The event, which ran from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, was held in the Community Education Room at the humane society. Cats and dogs visited painters while they worked. Events are regularly hosted by the group, which is planning a spaghetti dinner for February. All animals pictured are currently up for adoption at the Humane Society of Jefferson County, which is open 1-6 p.m. on Monday through Saturday at W6127 Kiesling Rd Jefferson, WI 53549.
