Brad’s Bites: Strong Start to Catfish Season

The 2024 catfishing season on the Red River in and around Grand Forks has started off with a bang! It is proof that stable conditions make for great fishing. Water levels have been the same for weeks until this past weekend when it came up a little from rains which will really put the pre-spawn fish into high gear.

Fire crews respond to early morning fire at Red River Potatoes building in Grand Forks
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (Valley News Live) - Staff at Red River Potatoes in Grand Forks were evacuated this morning, May 7, after a small fire. The Grand Forks Fire Departments says they received a call just before 3 a.m. for a report of a structure fire at 2250 Mill Rd.
