Five Deserving Racing Folks Inducted to NYSSCA HoF
FONDA, NY-On Sunday, May 5 at 10:30 a.m. at the Fonda Speedway Hall of Fame & Museum in Fonda, NY (located on the Montgomery County Fairgrounds the home of the Fonda Speedway), the New York State Stock Car Association (NYSSCA) will induct five members into their prestigious Hall of Fame. The class of 2023 include Joe Plazek, Mitch Gibbs, Dale Planck, Joe Marotta, and Jack Burgess.

Fonda Speedway & Lou Lazzaro Memorial Perfect Match
FONDA, NY – This Saturday, May 4 at the “Track of Champions” Fonda Speedway, the “Lou Lazzaro Memorial” will be held honoring the “Incomparable” Lou Lazzaro as Jim King used to call him. Lazzaro was a fan favorite; a four-time track champion at Fonda in 1964, 1969, 1977, 1978; and a winner of 113 feature events during his career at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds half mile facility, placing him second on the Modified Division All-Time Win List.
Florida, New York and D.C. join antitrust lawsuit against NCAA NIL rules
(The Center Square) – Florida, New York and the District of Columbia joined the antitrust case from Tennessee and Virginia against the National Collegiate Athletic Association on Wednesday. The case led to a February preliminary injunction against the NCAA enforcing its name, image and likeness rules.
