(WWBT) - At least two people died in a plane crash Sunday morning in Fluvanna County on Miles Jackson Road. “Virginia State Police was alerted to a plane crash in Fluvanna County. “Debris from the small, private aircraft was located in a wooded area within the 200 block of Miles Jackson Road in Palmyra,” Virginia State Police said. “The impact of the crash caused parts of the aircraft to catch fire.”
Authorities identify pilot, passenger killed in weekend plane crash
FLUVANNA COUNTY (CBS19 NEWS) -- Virginia State Police identified the pilot and passenger who were killed in a plane crash in Fluvanna County over the weekend. Police say that pilot John Latham, 63, and passenger Niiben Ayivorh, 73, left the Manassas Regional Airport and were flying to South Carolina when disaster struck.
