Mack Leopard scores Non-Wing Micro win at US 24 Speedway
Mack Leopard bagged his second victory of the season Sunday during a busy yet fruitful weekend of racing in the Midwest. Leopard started the weekend on Friday at Miami County Raceway in Peru, Indiana. Piloting the 87 CB Industries entry in the Outlaw Non-Wing Micro division, Leopard went from eighth to first in his heat race before finishing second in the feature after starting from the pole.

UPLAND, Ind. (WFFT) — The No. 18-rated Taylor baseball team completed its sweep of 2024 Crossroads League Championships by winning the championship game of the CL Tournament over Saint Francis (37-17) 7-4 in front of a packed crowd at Winterholter Field Monday evening. TU's Crossroads League Tournament title is the sixth it has won under head coach Kyle Gould, and it represents the 13th total league championship the program has claimed since 2005.

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Logansport ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. Central would travel to Clinton Prairie for an HHC game that would end with a Prairie 3-0 win. The Bulldogs defense would be solid again on this night as they had no erros and only 9 in the last seven games cobined, but the bats were not working. The positive, they did put the ball in play (only 5 Ks) and Prairie made some great defensive plays to keep the Bulldogs off the bases. As the Bulldogs would only have 5 base runners for the night.
