BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV) - Heading into the new week, NCWV will finally get a strong taste of summer. After some cooler conditions and light rain showers to start the week tomorrow, temperatures soar into midweek. All of this will come with very little in terms of precipitation, with the only real chances for rain coming in the form of spotty showers tomorrow afternoon, and potential storms spurring up on Friday as a result of the hot and humid conditions throughout the afternoon. Stay weather aware towards the end of the week as heat indices are expected to exceed 100 degrees and could push towards Heat Advisory criteria. Michael Moranelli has the details on a very hot and sunny week ahead.
