Wanted man arrested in Prestonsburg following chase reaching 110 mph
PRESTONSBURG, Ky. — A Johnson County man was arrested by Prestonsburg Police, following a chase reaching speeds of up to 110 miles an hour. Police spotted Thomas Price, 36, of Williamsport, in the Pink Elephant pawn shop parking lot Tuesday afternoon and knew him to be wanted for fleeing police in Johnson County and pointing a gun at them, so he attempted to pull him over.

Magoffin man indicted for bomb threats
SALYERSVILLE, Ky. — A man arrested for making bomb threats in Salyersville last year has now been indicted in the case. Christopher Lee Caldwell, 33, was arrested back in October, after dispatchers said he called and told them he had placed bombs in the Magoffin County Library and Williams Electric. They said he also told them he had knocked out his uncle.
