Eastern Colorado school evacuated due to grass fire Monday
HUGO, Colo. (KKTV) - A grass fire is out after burning 20 acres near an eastern Colorado school on Monday afternoon. According to Hugo Fire Protection District officials, they were alerted to a grass fire burning near the Genoa-Hugo School in Lincoln County at around 1:30 p.m. When fire crews arrived, they said the flames had already spread to a row of trees on the northwest side of the school.
