St. Paul softball looks to ride momentum into playoffs
WORCESTER, Mass. — The high school softball regular season wraps up soon and then it's onto the state playoffs for all the teams that qualify. The St. Paul softball team will be a high seed in Division I, the Knights have had a good season and the girls want to keep that momentum going.
Webster On Wheels
First held in 2009, Webster On Wheels (WOW) is Webster’s only annual community bike riding event. Held on Sunday, May 5, at Bristol Elementary School, WOW brought the community — kids, parents and adults — together for a fun and safe bicycle event. “And there were absolutely no scrapes, cuts, bruises, falls or crashes,” said one of the event’s coordinators, Dave Buck. Sunday’s event included free bike safety checks, traffic safety tips from Webster police, and a stunt show from the St. Louis Sprockets.
