Longmont Cinco de Mayo festival set for Saturday at Roosevelt Park
Longmont will once again celebrate Cinco de Mayo with a free, family-friendly festival on Saturday at Roosevelt Park. From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Roosevelt Park will be the site of musical performances, a break dancing competition, food trucks, a car show, and more. This year also marks the return of the Chihuahua contest, where judges will evaluate 15 Chihuahuas in three categories.
CommonSpirit removed from Anthem’s network
CommonSpirit Health and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Colorado have negotiated a new contract. On Wednesday, CommonSpirit Health is no longer in network. CommonSpirit Health operates 162 hospitals and more than 2,250 care sites across 24 states. In Longmont this includes Longmont United Hospital and a number of physician offices.
