TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) —Saturday, May 18 is International Astronomy Day, and that means there will be celebrations all around the world including right here in the Magic Valley. The College of Southern Idaho will be celebrating the day with festivities all day starting at 11 a.m. “We do basically everything we can think of to celebrate this, the great science of astronomy,” Observatory Coordinator for the College of Southern Idaho Chris Anderson said.
