BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. (KCTV) - A popular fast food chain is adapting quickly to make sure customers are able to customize all orders. TikTok user Mississippi Memaw (@mississippimemaw) shared a video on May 1. It showed her ordering a Dr. Pepper from her local Sonic Drive-in restaurant. The pickles she added to the drink turned out to be the twist that made the video go viral.

Winter wellness checks to protect pets
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The Pet Resource Center of Kansas City (PRCKC) has initiates winter wellness checks to help pet owners keep pets safe as the temperatures drop. Checks will be made to pets left outdoors by the PRCKC outreach team. They will also provide resources and education to pet owners.
Parkville sees new restaurants and businesses
Downtown Parkville has a new restaurant and another on the way. Prima Facie Bistro and Market plans a summer opening at 12 E. First St., in a former bank building. The bistro will seat about 150 people with three private dining rooms (one in an old vault, one on a mezzanine level overlooking the dining room), a large bar and patio. It will have a chef-inspired, seasonal menu (steaks, seafood, salads, handmade pastas) and hand-crafted cocktails.
