Library children's room reopens
After a month of renovations, the Lebanon-Laclede County Library reopened its Children’s Room to the public on Thursday. Members of the Lebanon Area Foundation, which facilitated the anonymous donation for renovation, and members of the Chamber of Commerce were present alongside community members young and old. “It's heartwarming to see the community come together for our library, 20 years after the new location's Grand Opening. We are thankful for the generous, anonymous donation and all the dedicated supporters, volunteers and library staff who helped make these upgrades happen,” said Assistant Library Director Erica Semsch in an email. Off to state
The Lebanon High School track and field team competed at the Class 5 Sectional 5 meet on Saturday in Waynesville. During the event, Lebanon qualified for the Class 5 State Championships, which will be held Friday and Saturday in Jefferson City. “First, a big thank you to the Waynesville coaching staff for hosting a great Sectional Meet,” head coach Shane Rebmann said. “They are a class group and always do a fantastic job. “We had a good day overall. The coaches were pleased with the effort from all of our kids.
