EWING, NJ – West Chester's pair of divers placed fourth and sixth off the 3-meter springboard at The College of New Jersey Invitational Saturday afternoon. Boden Burkhart (Walnutport, Pa./Northampton) was fourth with a score of 416.60 after 11 dives while Tyler Czeiner (Douglassville, Pa./Daniel Boone) was sixth with a score of 393.90.
CB South Titans Lose Their First-Ever State Semifinal Football Game
LANSDALE, PA—After having their best season in school history, the Central Bucks South football team lost the PIAA Class 6 semifinal on Saturday afternoon. The CB South Titans lost to the powerhouse St. Joseph’s Prep Hawks 49-0 in a game played at North Penn High School in Lansdale. The Hawks will go on to play for the PIAA Class 6A state championship against the North Allegheny Tigers next weekend. The Titans were a definite underdog going into today’s semifinal. While the Hawks are the defending PIAA Class 6A champions, the Titans have never made it to a district championship game in their 20-year history. The Hawks returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown and never looked back. By halftime, the score was 42-0. The Hawks scored again in the fourth quarter to bring the score to 49-0. Cheltenham High School boys’ basketball head coach and Class of 2005 alum Patrick Fleury hit the century mark Friday night. The Panthers took down Frankford High School with a decisive 58-37 victory in the first round of the Bruce Hall Tip Off tournament.
