Staff at Springfield-Branson National Airport prepared for the worst during a disaster drill held Wednesday evening. Actors covered in fake blood and wounds spread out across a closed taxiway as a mock airplane fuselage burned nearby. Airport firefighters, along with firefighters from Willard and Springfield, responded to the scene to test their preparedness for an incident involving an airplane crash.
