Preliminary investigations suggest that the driver of a vehicle was traveling East on Diamond Avenue over Grove Street, when they abruptly hit the cyclist in the roadway. The driver of the vehicle was transported to a local hospital for chemical testing, but no alcohol or drugs are believed to be a factor in the accident.
