Evansville Police investigate early morning hit and run

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT)- Evansville Police are investigating an early morning accident on the city’s west side.

EPD arrest suspects after armed robbery on Delaware Street

The accident happened just after 3:00 a.m. at the intersection of the Lloyd Expressway and St. Joe. Evansville Police say that a motorcycle rider was stopped at the light at St. Joe when he was rear ended by a white SUV, knocking him into the intersection.

The SUV driver reportedly got out of the vehicle to apologize, and said that her foot slipped off the pedal causing her to hit him. Afterwards, she reportedly got back into her vehicle and headed east on Lloyd Expressway.

The SUV driver was last seen exiting at Main Street, and the motorcycle rider was taken to a local hospital.
