Tulsa approves tax district to help redevelop Philcade Building
TULSA, Okla. - Tulsa city leaders have approved new tax increment finance districts to help support a major redevelopment project for the historic Philcade Building downtown. The Tulsa City Council voted March 11 to create two tax increment finance, or TIF, districts tied to the property. The districts would allow developers to receive tax rebates generated by the project to help offset redevelopment costs.
