Highway Patrol: Driver identified in fatal dump truck crash on U.S. 64 in Rosman
The North Carolina State Highway Patrol has released the identity of the dump truck driver who was killed in a single-vehicle crash on April 22 in Rosman. Sgt. Jim Contas told the Times-News on April 24 that the woman has been identified as Carolyn McCall Lund, 63, of Transylvania County. He said the call about the accident came in at 12:37 p.m. April 22, and that the accident happened on U.S. 64 West in Rosman near Silversteen Road.
