St. Andrew’s-Sewanee School Adds New Faculty
The staff at St. Andrew’s-Sewanee School announces three new faces to the SAS team in the fall. The newest addition in the Science Department is Mr. Joe Mahler, the new physics teacher. Mr. Mahler, who will also be the head coach of cross country, has more than 20 years of teaching experience ranging from middle school to university classrooms. The schools at which he has taught include James Madison University, St. Catherine’s School in Richmond, Va., Providence Day School in Charlotte, NC and, most recently, at Sayre School in Lexington, Ky.

Plasma donor center donates to group that helps local students
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - Grifols Biomat USA, a plasma donation center in Huntsville, donated thousands to a local organization that helps students in Madison County. The donation center donated $20,000 to Free 2 Teach. The organization provides free resources to students in Madison County’s three public school systems. The resources are available to more than 3,800 full-time classroom teachers and school staff and their 53,000 students.
