Missing PA teen found after chase through local counties

ERIE, Pa. (WKBN) – An overnight chase involving a 14-year-old girl who was missing out of Erie , Pennsylvania spanned multiple local counties before ending in Portage County.

Tuesday night, Pennsylvania State Police put out a Missing Endangered Person Advisory for a 14-year-old girl. State Police say she was with 20-year-old John Wolfe in a Toyota Avalon. She had last been seen in the New Castle area.

The car was spotted early Wednesday morning, and officers started chasing the car.

The chase went through parts of Mahoning and Trumbull counties before investigators lost sight of them. The car was then found abandoned around 2 a.m. near a boat launch at West Branch State Park in Portage County.

Troopers started searching the area and eventually found the teen and Wolfe. There’s no word on what charges Wolfe could face.
