Annual Father's Day Breakfast and Fly-In takes place at Geneseo's Gen-Airpark
GENESEO, Ill. — It was a morning full of pancakes and planes in Geneseo. On Sunday, Gen Air-Park held its annual Father’s Day Breakfast and Fly-In from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. The breakfast and fly-in has been around since 1981. According to Kent Johnson, the airport’s manager, this Father’s Day tradition feeds around 900-1,100 people each year. And while pancakes flew off the griddles, planes flew in and out of the airport putting on a show.
