Nonprofit recognizes a Boulder court for work with homeless people
The Center for Justice Innovation, a nonprofit group, recently recognized Boulder Community Court for its work with unhoused people. The nonprofit group also designated Boulder Community Court as a “mentor court” that can help other local community courts around the country. People who work in the Boulder Community Court will mentor similar court projects in Utah, Wyoming, Nevada and Mississippi.

Superior residents can celebrate National Trails Day at Coalton Trailhead
Superior residents can learn about open space and celebrate trails at the Coalton Trailhead for National Trails Day. From 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, residents can go to the Coalton Trailhead, 3495 McCaslin Boulevard, to celebrate the town’s trails and learn more about the town’s open spaces. The Open Space Advisory Committee will host free horse-drawn carriage rides, interactive community booths, goat feeding and live animal presentations at the trailhead.
