Spartanburg community honors fallen Veterans on Memorial Day
SPARTANBURG, S.C. (FOX Carolina) -This Memorial Day, veterans and grateful citizens gathered in Spartanburg to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country. Among the fallen remembered were Michael Scott Adams, an Army veteran; Arther Jay Alexander, who served in the Marine Corps during WWII; and William H. Alexander, a WWII Army veteran. The ceremony also paid tribute to Lewis M. Allen, a Marine Corps veteran from WWII, and John H. Allison, who served in the Army during the same conflict.
