Plaquemines Parish man arrested for Jan. 6 Capitol riots investigation
PLAQUEMINES PARISH, La. — FBI New Orleans says they arrested a Plaquemines parish man for charges related to the breach of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. The man was identified as 34-year-old Matthew Matulich of Buras. He was arrested in Venice, and he will have to appear in the Eastern District of Louisiana court.

NEW ORLEANS — Scott Boyle of DOTD says there are 1,200 bridges across seven parishes that are inspected on a regular basis. The parishes include Orleans, Jefferson, St. Bernard, Plaquemines, St. Charles, Terrebonne and Lafourche. They conduct visual inspections looking for cracks, rust on steel and other structural issues.
