Eli Pistulka Hits Hole-In-One at FKC Invite
Summer is just around the corner and the spring sports season is nearing its conclusion which means each and every meet matters to build momentum towards qualifying for state. The FKC invitational took place at Overton Golf Course on April 30 with Wilcox-Hildreth and Axtell in attendance along with six other schools. The Falcons placed sixth with a stroke score of 384, while the Wildcats placed eighth with a stroke score of 674.
Axtell Boys Third at Elm Creek Invititational
Eleven schools took part in the Elm Creek Invitational at Overton on May 3. Axtell's boys finished third while the Axtell girls were ninth. Boys' scores: Hershey 103, Hastings St. Cecilia 101, Axtell 94, Amherst 41.5, Sutherland 39, Overton 38, Elm Creek 36, Loomis 31, S-E-M 18.5, Maxwell 16, Pleasanton 8.

‘Annie’ Presented by Fourth and Fifth Grade
Cozad Elementary Music Teacher Senja Stephens presented her fourth 4th and 5th grade Honor Musical on Thursday, April 25. Sixty students were involved in this year’s production which presented a 2 p.m. matinee for the elementary students in the afternoon and a public production at 7 p.m. in the CHS auditorium The students performed to a packed house in the evening, with estimates of 500 or more in attendance.
