PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) — A minor who allegedly ditched his handgun while running from police escaped custody on Saturday after fleeing with another underage boy. According to a Peoria police news release, officers were patrolling the 1600 block of N. Great Oak a little after 9 p.m. when they witnessed the two fleeing on foot at the sight of them.
3 dogs rescued after oven fire smokes Peoria home
PEORIA (25News Now) - Peoria firefighters saved three dogs trapped in a smokey house Tuesday morning. Just before 9:30 a.m., fire crews were called to a home on 1820 W. Bradley Ave. for a reported structure fire. The first crew that arrived saw smoke billowing from all sides of the building.
