Three car crash sends one to the hospital in Elmira

ELMIRA, N.Y. ( WETM ) — At least one person was seen being taken in an ambulance after a three-car crash caused a disturbance on an Elmira street.

According to an 18 News reporter at the scene, around 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 28, three vehicles, a white sedan, a silver sedan, and a black pickup truck, were involved in a crash in the 300 block of Franklin Street in the city.

Heavy damage could be seen on the white sedan’s back left corner while the black truck had front right corner damage with the wheel nearly off the truck.

The silver sedan looked to have very little, if any, damage, but Elmira Police could be seen walking around and taking information for all involved.

One person was seen going into an ambulance and off to the hospital.

It’s unknown how the crash happened at this time, 18 News will update the story if that information becomes available.
