Multiple arrests made by Elizabethton Police Department on various charges

The following arrests have been reported by the Elizabethton Police Department:

  • On April 24, officers responded to a request for assistance at 720 West Elk Avenue (Cato). Steve Mahan reported that his daughter, Terese Kristin Kimes-Gibson, refused to exit his vehicle when he attempted to take her to the hospital in Johnson City. Upon arrival, officers found Terese Kimes exhibiting erratic behavior and signs of intoxication. After performing poorly on standardized field sobriety tests, Kimes was arrested for public intoxication. While being transported, Kimes admitted to heroin use. She was given a court date of June 3.
  • On April 24, Officer Samuel Woodby arrested Charles R. Hoke for theft of property (up to $1,000) and criminal trespass.
  • Officers were dispatched to 1515 Highway 19E Bypass (Americourt Hotel) on April 24 for a welfare check on Dylan R. Ford. Ford was found to be in possession of marijuana and was issued a criminal summons for simple possession. He was given a court date of June 4.
  • On April 23, Officer Rocky Croy responded to a disturbance at 645 West Riverside Drive. Kristie Dawn Nelson was arrested for disorderly conduct, public intoxication, and possession of Schedule III drugs after exhibiting erratic behavior and admitting to drug use. She was given a court date of May 22.
  • On April 23, Officer Hayden Holtsclaw observed a stolen vehicle matching the description of a Flock Alert. The vehicle was driven by Frank R. Fuller and passenger Tashmae Malone. Fuller was arrested for possession of stolen property and given a court date of May 6.
  • On April 22, Officer Holtsclaw arrested Jeanette L. Norman for driving under the influence, driving without a license, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of methamphetamine. Norman consented to a blood test, which revealed drugs in her system. She was transported to jail after receiving medical clearance.
  • Watch Commander Anthony Buck cited Marcus Aiden Hill on April 24 for speeding, simple possession of Schedule VI drugs, and possession of drug paraphernalia after finding marijuana and related items in Hill’s vehicle. Hill was given a court date of May 20.

Note: All arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
