Hwy 42 Resurfacing Continues
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (Wis-DOT) continues to push north giving state Highway 42 a facelift for 12.1 miles from Sturgeon Bay to Egg Harbor. The $6.76 million project is scheduled to be completed June 28 and includes various culvert removal and replacements, culvert transition excavation, concrete curb and gutter, asphalt milling and overlaying of the roadway, pavement marking, centerline and shoulder rumble strips, and other incidental work.

A residential housing development for the West Waterfront was favored over a hotel by Sturgeon Bay’s Finance/Purchasing and Building Committee on Tuesday.
