The summit opened with a general session and panel discussion introduced by Kathy Wells, vice president of Central Wyoming College. The panel featured key leaders in Wyoming higher education: Laurel Ballard, Wyoming Community College Commission executive director; Brandon Kosine, president of Casper College; and Anne Alexander, UW interim provost. “The Articulation Summit is designed to bring representatives from Wyoming’s institutions of higher education together to have meaningful conversations around how we can ensure smooth and efficient transfer from the community colleges to the University of Wyoming,” said Ballard. “Incredibly important conversations occur at the summit, which ultimately help students reach their educational goals more quickly.” Throughout the day, participants explored strategies for course-for-course articulation agreements and received updates from UW representatives on the Wyoming Transfer Alignment Guides. Afternoon breakout sessions allowed faculty and staff to collaborate in specialized areas, focusing on curriculum, advisement, records
