Two UTRGV programs recognized on U.S. News and World Report

HARLINGEN, Texas ( ValleyCentral ) — Two programs at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley have been recognized nationally.

The U.S. News and World Report has placed UTRGV’s Rehabilitation Counseling program in its most 2024 Best Graduate School rankings.

UTRGV ranked 13 out of 94 U.S. institutions in the Best Rehabilitation Counseling Programs category.

The U.S. News and World Report also ranked UTRGV 95 out of 318 U.S. institution in the Best Schools for Social Work category.

“This is yet another valued recognition for UTRGV programs dedicated to the continued success of our students,” said UTRGV President Guy Bailey.

Each score was ranked based on a survey of academics at peer institutions.

“It is also a testament to the faculty and staff who dedicate so much time and so many resources to preparing students for careers in health-related fields,” Bailey continued.
